Pollution means the addition of any foreign substance in any phase of the Environment, either its Soil, Water or Air. Pollution deteriorates the Quality of the Environment and makes it unsuitable for living organisms on Earth. This is the most crucial Environmental Problem of the present era. As the World’s Population increases, the waste production and other harmful Anthropogenic Activities also increases with time. This is giving rise to extreme levels of pollution on the Earth. The most important fact about Pollution is that it is mostly Anthropogenic and even some pollutions are originated by Anthropogenic Activities.

We can control and prevent Pollution by restricting and also limiting Human Activities and avoiding ways that increase the Pollution. Different components of the Environment face different types of Pollutions. All of them are dangerous for Environment, Humans and also other Biodiversity on Earth. This is the reason why Pollution is the biggest Environmental Problem of Present time.

These gases are the major cause of Global Warming and also play significant roles in Extreme Weather events that may occur on the Earth. Transportation is the biggest cause of Air Pollution. The emissions by vehicles and Transportation are increasing with passing years and passing time.

2. Volcanic Eruptions:

Volcanoes are the openings on the surface of the Earth that provide path to the lava present in depth of Earth to reach the surface of the Earth. These eruptions does not only contain hot fluid called lava, but it also contains tons of Green House Gases that adds into the atmosphere with explosive eruptions. This is very harmful for the Atmospheric Composition and it eventually leads to Air Pollution. Every year volcanoes erupt in different parts of the world and add these toxic gases into the Atmosphere. These eruptions does occur because of Anthropogenic Activities and they are Natural Cause of Air Pollution.

3. Industrial Activities:

Industries are the big hubs or manufacturing, processing, supplying and also transportation of goods and products to different areas. An industry powers up with the help of Fossil Fuels Burning. When the fossil fuel is burnt, these adds COX, NOx, SOX, and many other harmful and warming gases into the atmosphere. The industrial activities also contains the emissions from the Transportation of goods from one place to another. This also constitutes the Waste Production, Inefficient Waste Disposal and Poor Waste Management, that are the core reasons of every Pollution on Earth.

Wildfires are the uncontrollable fires that ignites naturally into the forests and cause damage to the Biodiversity and the Environment. These fires may be due to lightening, heat waves, extreme temperatures and many other such extreme natural and anthropogenic activities occurred in the forest. The wildfires can destroy whole forests within hours or days. These wildfires are not only destructive for Biodiversity, but they also adds tons of Green House Gases into the Atmosphere and is a significant cause of Global Warming. Wildfires have very bad impacts on Atmospheric Composition.

5. Deforestation:

Deforestation is the process of cutting trees from the welfare of humans and also to get Forest Resources. The process of deforestation is very harmful for the Environment and Atmospheric Composition. The forests are natural Cleansers of Air. They remove Carbon dioxide and also other major Air Pollutants from the Atmosphere and make the air fit for Humans and the Biodiversity. The cutting of forests or deforestation, cause accumulation of Air Pollutants into the Air and in extreme conditions it may lead to Extreme Weather events such as Acid Rain, Smog, and disturbance in Air Quality.

Air Pollution mostly contain warming gases and all the dangerous Air pollutants that may lead to Extreme Weather Events, Heavy Rainfall, Hail and also Extreme Temperatures. These phenomena lead to the enhances Impacts of Climate Change. Climate Change is variation in Weather patterns and Temperature of the Earth within a long period of time.
